On campus, there are opportunities for sports, cafés to relax between classes and a culture of music and theater to enjoy. The University of Bremen has a dedicated international affairs team that will help you fit right in, but it will still leave you with tons to explore in the Northern City!
A sparkling port city in the North, Bremen is a mixture of historical old buildings and a hub of innovative technology where you’ll always find loads to do! It’s a city that is frequently visited by tourists for its picturesque boating sights, music and orchestras and the famous Freimarkt funfair. Visit the Bremer Rathaus for a free concert or view the city from 100 meters above ground with the Zarm Drop Tower. You will definitely not want to miss the famous winter Christmas Market, where celebrations and festive activities last a whole month! The city will also give you a pleasant watch for sports. Bremen is home to the top division Bundesliga club, Werder Bremen, who play at the Weser Stadium!
