Welcome to our support chat! How can we help you today?
PlayAbroad guides North American student-athletes ages 11-23 in finding trusted, development-focused international soccer pathways that fit their goals, education plans, and long-term ambitions.
Our mission is simple: Open doors that don’t exist in North America – bridging the gap between the U.S./Canadian talent and Europe’s world-class soccer traditions.
With a network of soccer academies across 22+ countries (The United Kingdom, Spain, France & more), we build personalized pathways that fit your unique profile and future goals.
North American student-athletes often hit a barrier: limited roster spots, crowded systems, and no clear pathways after youth soccer. When families want to explore abroad soccer opportunities, they’re expected to navigate a completely different football world on their own.
Our founder, Logan Meadows, lived this same struggle. As a young American trying to break into international soccer environments, everything – from finding coaches and trials to understanding visas and academics – had to be built from scratch. He realized:
PlayAbroad was created to solve that problem. What began as one athlete building his own path has now become a global support system helping families across the U.S. and Canada access safe, realistic, and academically aligned soccer opportunities abroad – trusted by more than 100 families today.
Our Responsibility to Families
When families trust us with their child’s future, we take that responsibility seriously. Our Values are built around safety, transparency, and focus on long-term soccer athlete development.
We match each athlete with programs that align to their level, goals, and timeline. Each Pathway offers continued academic support.
Athletes are placed only within our trusted academy network, where housing, meals, transport, training, and daily structure are fully managed.
Every family receives a clear financial range and personalized plan. If we can’t deliver within that range, we offer a 100% refund guarantee.
Each athlete works with a dedicated International Placer who supports them through programs evaluation, logistics, placement, and transition abroad.

The process is divided into four steps. You begin with a Chance Assessment call where a specialist learns about your goals. We then review your highlight video to evaluate your profile and identify best-fit opportunities. If your profile aligns with available pathways, you’ll be invited to a Membership Call where we outline your potential journey.
